About Our Classes

Services Training provides training during the entire client lifecycle. We will train you both Pre Go-Live: during your software Implementation (build of) Nimble AMS, and after – with Live: Continuing Education, Re-Training, and New Hire classes.  We want to be your source of trusted learning about Nimble AMS for all you need, whenever you need it.

We offer training in two major formats:

Scheduled – At a set time or place (during Covid19 conducted virtually). Participation in Scheduled classes can be arranged in two ways: Checking the Schedule page on this site for pre-arranged classes. Reaching out to us via the Contact Us page and requesting to schedule a class.
Choice – Users can choose topics from any of our 10 classes and create their own agenda. This option is only for clients that are Live with the Nimble AMS platform. See the Choice Class Description for more details.

On this page, clients can determine the what, whom, when, and how of our classes by examining the following:

Class & Summary – Clients can see What the class is about – What is the Class called, what does it involve (Class Summary), and what are the details of the class by downloading the Class Description.  Note: class descriptions include important decision-making information such as class times, pre-requisites, and a detailed class agenda of topics/sub-topics.
Level – Clients can see Who should take the class – and what is the minimum requirement level for the class: End User or Administrator. Class prerequisites still apply.
Timing – Clients can see When they should take a class – Should they take it during their Pre Go-Live phase, or after, when they are Live with the platform as Continuing Education, Re-Training, and/or New Hire Training.
Format – Clients can see How they can take the class – Is the class available as a Scheduled option, as a part of Choice Training, or both.

The Nimble AMS Accounting class is an introduction stock accounting features and business processes such as how orders and payments are processed, ledger entries totaled and batched, and data exported to external accounting software. Students will gain hands-on experience by using Nimble and engaging in a variety of practice exercises.

The Nimble AMS Administrator class instructs attendees on how to configure their Nimble AMS system at the Administrator level. Users will learn how to utilize the strength of the Salesforce platform upon which Nimble is built and leverage those functions with unique Nimble Administrator capabilities. Concepts such as editing and administrating profiles and security, adding and changing fields, configuring page layouts, managing list views, reports, and dashboards, and setting up complex objects are explored. Each topic builds upon the previous to present a model of how to maintain & build Nimble AMS.

The Nimble AMS Administrator II class is an advanced Administrator level class that instructs attendees on how to automate functions in their Nimble AMS platform. Users will learn how to utilize the strength of the Salesforce platform upon which Nimble is built and leverage those functions with unique Nimble Administrator capabilities. Concepts such as workflows, approval processes, process builder, flows and change sets are explored and built in successive exercises. Each topic builds upon the previous to present a comprehensive model of how to automate functions and improve efficiency in Nimble AMS.

The Nimble AMS Choice offering is a training service that enables existing clients (post Go-Live) to engage Services Training to create a personalized educational experience for their employees. A trainer will meet with client representatives for formulate learning plan with a specific agenda of topics and subtopics pulled from any of the Nimble AMS class offerings. The trainer will subsequently spend time understanding the client’s production/staging orgs prior to instruction and incorporate those personalized records, processes, and directions into the finalized training. This training will occur on the clients Staging (and Production – when possible) org. Clients can arrange for the agenda to encompass several hours to multiple days. The instruction can be conducted to small or large groups, on an individual basis, and sessions can be repeated as many times as desired.

The Nimble AMS Community Hub class instructs attendees on how to edit and configure member facing portal (Community Hub) and the Lightning Store at the Administrator level. Users responsible for client web portal management will learn how to edit or build pages, cards, buttons, develop data sources and queries, set up automated processes, and manage users. Users will spend time configuring and implementing the advanced Lightning Store, learning how to integrate it into their existing Community Hub.

The Nimble AMS Create class provides a detailed look at the creation and maintenance of Nimble Create based formal Reports. Users will learn best practices in generating Create reports through hands on construction of examples in the Nimble Training environment, and, when possible, in their live or test system. This course covers advanced, technical aspects of Nimble AMS and is designed for individuals designated as Administrator-level users of the system and for IT personnel.

The Nimble AMS End User class is an overview of Nimble AMS basic features and its purpose is to instruct users with the core functions and best practices of Nimble AMS. It offers a solid background for users to become acquainted with the system as it introduces the basic Nimble AMS framework, defines Nimble AMS specific terminology, and instructs users on how to navigate, view, and enter data by partaking in sample, hands-on exercises.

The Nimble AMS Familiarization class functions as a new, pre-Go Live client’s introduction to Nimble AMS stock features. Department representatives, leaders, executives, and IT personnel are invited to participate in this class which occurs as soon in the Nimble AMS implementation cycle (post Sale) as possible. The instruction is scheduled prior to/at same time as clients are completing the Nimble AMS Discovery Workbooks so attendees become “familiar” with the major features and functions of stock Nimble AMS. Clients are then able to more effectively complete workbooks, reference features, and converse with Nimble AMS service personnel. Clients will also be able to contribute more efficiently regarding Nimble AMS services build of the client configured system and it’s migration through the Staging and Production orgs.

Clients receive continued access to the Nimble AMS Training Org on which the training occurs for 30 days from the day of Training. A Nimble AMS End User manual (in PDF) is delivered to each attendee prior to training and reflects the content of the Nimble AMS training org. The manual also replicates with step-by-step instructions the trainers daily lessons as well as chronicles best practices of Nimble AMS. It can be used to replicate exercises and attempt additional ones while exploring the Training org, the Staging org, and the eventual Production org. It is also a valuable reference guide for usage post Go-Live.

The Nimble AMS Go-Live service is a client’s final training prior to going live with their Nimble AMS configured org. A trainer will develop a specific agenda discussed and formulated with client representatives and deliver the content in hands on instruction in the client configured production org to all client users. Each user will go through a half-day Nimble Basics session followed by audience specific, modular training on the adopted sections of the platform. Sessions repeated as desired and offered over as many days as needed. Recording of sessions allowed and encouraged. All users will receive the Nimble AMS End User guide for reference.

The Nimble AMS Reports and Dashboards Class provides a detailed and interactive overview of the creation, building, and maintenance of Nimble List Views, Reports, & Dashboards. Users will learn best practices in construction of working examples in their Nimble Staging org. The class is two days, with the first day focused on learning how to build list views, reports, and dashboards with the second day spent on the application of those lessons in an interactive build of Reports in the user’s Production org.

Clients can also send specific personnel to an Administrator’s portion of the training that instructs users on how to create and manage report types, configure Home level dashboards, and create and implement best practices around folder management.

When this class is provided to a client during the implementation cycle (pre Go-Live), it is advised that the first day of training – instruction on how to build list views, reports, and dashboards be conducted just prior to Go-Live training but the second day (hands on lab) be delayed to post Go-Live.

Existing and Implementation clients have the option of engaging training to conduct the lab portion of the class in an extended fashion over a period of multiple days as well as to employ training to actually build list views, reports, and dashboards as an extended service.
